For the final release of Project Shutter X, I wanted to create something extra special. This yoyo calls back to the early days of when I started yoyoing. In 2004 8 year old Gentry picked up a yoyo for the first time. It became my obsession, but after about 2 years, the love faded for some reason. I didn't pick up a yoyo for an entire year, until 2008. Christmas was around the corner, and I saw a yoyo that sparked the love once again. I HAD to have it. It was a special edition silver 2008 888 and It was the only thing on my Christmas list. On Christmas morning I ran to the tree to find a special present waiting there for me. Upon opening it, I revealed that shiny silver yoyo I spend so many months thinking about. It's the yoyo that brought the spark back, and since then my love for yoyoing has never left. The goal of this final yoyo in Project Shutter X is to offer that same experience I had as a young boy to you. The feeling of opening that shiny silver yoyo is such a special part of my story... now it can be part of yours too.
